This line made me sob. Because it forced me to think back on what these two have gone through since they’ve met. Mutual frustration followed by mutual respect and friendship. Two friends inspired by and in awe of each other. Awe turned into a desperate realization that he needs something more with her and she needs something more with him. Because Pawnee is a really special town and he looks forward to the moments in his day when he gets to hang out with the town and talk to the town about stuff. And the town has really nice blonde hair too. And he knows that they could get into trouble but he can’t take it anymore; it’s not just him, right? No, she reassures him, it’s not just him. And a secret, desperate kiss is shared. Uh oh. But uh oh leads to wine and history channel documentaries and they are surrounded by that bubble that they never want popped. But all good things must come to an end, all bubbles are eventually popped. Secrets become not-so-secret and a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity knocks on her door. The inevitable was ignored with make-out sessions and breakfast-cooking…but he had to end it. Because he didn’t want to stand in the way of her dreams. And they tried living life without each other, but how is one supposed to live life after having found and let go of one’s soul mate? So she said let’s say screw it. Consequences be damned. He resigned in disgrace but oh, so in love. She hurt her campaign but healed her heart. Those three little (rather quite large) words were spoken aloud. And they grew together. The councilwoman and her campaign manager. Holding hands and jumping off of cliffs together into the great unknown.

Ben: “I think at some point you and I should probably make out with each other.” Leslie: “Yeah, good call.”
Yes Ben, at some point we should make out!
Tumblr Savior
Click here to check out Tumblr Savior. It makes it so you can avoid seeing things you don’t wanna see, as long as those posts are tagged. This is super useful in avoiding spoilers (which I will be more careful about in the future and I do apologize for) and in avoiding annoying stuff you just don’t care about.
Anything from tonight’s episode, other than the one post I reblogged for a request, will not be posted until Saturday night, and even then will be tagged #spoilers.
Thanks!

I don’t know how much of a difference it will make (if any) but I recently joined this NBC Peacock Panel Survey and spent about 10 minutes yesterday and 10 minutes today answering survey questions to help point out how awesome Parks and Rec and a few other NBC shows are. So if you think it might help you all should sign up.
